From the front door it was a 100 meter walk to the middle of Gold Beach and a 1-2 km drive or hike up to the cliff top memorial over Arromanches. Perfect for our short stop during a self-guided exploration of the historic sites of Normandy."

"Quiet & private setting with codes to check in. Close to beach and near restaurants, cafes, bakery, shops. Note- 3 floors of stairs to get to room and low ceilings in stairway and at entry way to rooms. Wifi did not work in our room. "

Their lovely B&B is just a block from the beach where you can walk or ride for hours if you choose. The room was private, delightfully decorated, very clean, and exceptionally comfortable. "We stayed 3 nights in August 2024 as a family of four. The place is beautiful. The room was great with a huge bathroom (and wonderful shower). The twin room upstairs had plenty of room for my two teenaged children. The food was the best bit. Breakfast was a selection of pastries, fruits and local dishes. On the first night, we opted to eat our evening meal there. After that, we ate there everynight. The menu is the chef's suggestion. We had chicken one night/ beef the next and then...
