"We stayed at Le Castel for 2 nights during a trip to see the beaches of Normandy. The town of Bayeux is charming and the Normandy region is beautiful! Le Castel is conveniently located in town, and walkable to all the charming restaurants, shops, and attractions in Bayeux. My complaints fall with the lack of accessibility of staff. "I had a wonderful stay at this lovely B&B right in the heart of Bayeux. The home is extremely clean, and the owner has an excellent eye for collecting and decorating with interesting pieces. "Extremely pleasant family running a small, quiet property. Easy parking and a simple, but nice breakfast. From the front door it was a 100 meter walk to the middle of Gold Beach and a 1-2 km drive or hike up to the cliff top memorial over Arromanches. Perfect for our short stop during a self-guided exploration of the historic sites of Normandy."

"Sylvie and Jean-Michel were absolutely amazing hosts. They are a warm, friendly and engaging couple that love what they do. Their lovely B&B is just a block from the beach where you can walk or ride for hours if you choose. The room was private, delightfully decorated, very clean, and exceptionally comfortable. Sylvie started our morning with a delicious homemade French breakfast complete with fresh fruits, breads, local cheeses, homemade jams, yogurts, crepes, and other delightful treats....

"We stayed 3 nights in August 2024 as a family of four. The place is beautiful. The room was great with a huge bathroom (and wonderful shower). The twin room upstairs had plenty of room for my two teenaged children. The food was the best bit. Breakfast was a selection of pastries, fruits and local dishes. "The property is quite well located. The kitchen was fairly well equipped. The bathroom is very small especially the shower that only had a curtain and you had to be very careful not to get overspill onto the floor. The bedroom was upstairs and the bathroom toilet was downstairs which wasn`t the most convenient layout."
