"My teen daughters and I stayed here 4 nights and used the cabin as a home base for a service project. The cabin was a comfy safe haven for us when we were none weary and sore! The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, climate control was easy, and the washer and dryer were indispensable. As with all of cabin type dwellings, you will hear creaking and footsteps from upstairs to downstairs. There are two showers, but if you use both at the same time, water pressure will be weak (common in the mountains). If you can handle these small inconveniences, don't hesitate to rent this property! "

"Could not have been more pleased with this cabin! Very convenient to Banner Elk and Beech Mountain. Extremely clean and comfortable. Loved the hot tub on the private screened in porch! Host was most accomadating. Would definitely rent this cabin again."

"We usually stay at Hampton Inn whenever we travel. Never disappointed. Always love a free breakfast and this one was great. Food was: if you want cereal-it was there, eggs and breakfast meat-on the hot bar, waffles-you guessed it, it was on the bar. You can make more than 1 if you wish. Bagels, french toast etc. And some of the best coffee youll ever have. Oh and the sweet Southern lady who does the breakfast bakes the BEST Chocolate Chip cookies youll ever eat. She puts them out at 10 am. Sooooo good."

Despite having no electricity, water, cell service, phone or internet the management, staff and everyone else there all came together as a community and worked together to do everything possible for each other and everyone there and to keep everyone's spirits high Despite all the tragedy and destruction. "Very nice condo with lots of room and all the basic supplies you need for a few days or a few weeks! The staff members are welcoming and keep in touch to make sure your stay is satisfactory. The condo was clean, modern and in good repair. Highly recommended!"
