"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. "The chalet was clean and comfortable with all required amenities. There was plenty of seating outside in both the shade and the sun and it’s own tucked away car parking space. There was a washing machine, bikes, kayak and table tennis available on site which was quiet and tucked away over a little bridge from the village road. "This property has 2 rentals next to each other. Carola and Joris are very approachable and wonderful hosts. They want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Each unit is newly renovated and comfortable for 1-2 people to stay in. It is conveniently located near the Maxima Park, shops and lots of beautiful bike and walking paths. "This boathouse was perfect for my partner and I! We took public transportation into Amsterdam everyday (20 minute walk to the bus stop, then a 10 minute bus ride, then a 30 minute tram ride to city center) it was so nice to come back to a quite place right on the water afterwards to relax. The only downsides were that there were no soap in the hand soap dispensers and that the public laundry was out of order, other than that it was perfect! Thank you!"
