"Lovely spacious room. Comfy bed. No one on reception when we got there on Friday Dec 27th but after ringing a phone number and leaving a message we were greeted by the owners son. We were asked if we wanted a meal that night or breakfast in the morning which we didnt need. It would have been nice to visit the bar on Friday pm but we found it closed at 9:45pm when we tried to visit it. Maybe it would be open later a different day or in the summer. A pleasant stay if you want to stay in your room."

"We were given room 4, apparently it has an Infamous reputation as the lad who looks after the hotel called a few hours before check-in to ask if we wanted to find alternative accommodation due to the amount of complaints they have about this room. "Beautiful house set in an idyllic location. Lots of lovely things to do in the house and plenty of room for a big group. The house had a lovely homey feel to it and we would definitely go back to stay again. A lot of time and care has been put into the house. The only slight downside, is that there is only space for 3 cars to park on the property, as the neighbours are very funny about it and only three out of the five bedrooms had the double beds stated, but it worked fine for us. "
