"Modern, clean and well equipped property with added bonus of secure parking for car and bikes. Comms with host were excellent with quick responses to any queries and worthy recommendations of places to eat. Apartment was however very warm in the summer sunshine and being close to a busy road meant that sleeping with windows open was difficult - luckily we had packed earplugs! A little further from the centre of Friedrichshafen that we had imagined, but cycle routes made journey to the centre...

"Die Wohnung war sogar noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Alles sauber. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden. Viele Bücher für Kinder auch da. Lage super! Strand ist gar nicht weit und super für Kinder (und Erwachsene natürlich auch). Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub."

The photos really don't do the apartment justice...it is much larger than it appears and is super comfortable for a family of 4-5. The unit is furnished with all the modern conveniences and has an outstanding view of the lake and the Alps. "So clean, kitchen well equipped, setting is charming. In town but nearly surrounded by apple orchards. The hosts spoke English and were very welcoming and helpful. One afternoon we enjoyed the patio. Lovely area to walk, very convenient to bus stop when you want to visit Lindau Island. Parking for our car. Highly recommend."

The only thing is the noise from traffic,however if you shut all windows and blinds it's not a problem. Also underground carpark great. "Positive: The Apartment is really good, especially that it is divided into 2 Floors. Big space. Kitchen has all amenities. Near to the City Center. The Walser Plus Card is great - with 4-hrs. free entry to Aquaria. Negative: The location is just beside a main road and beside a tank station. This can be quite noisy when the windows are open."

"Die Wohnung liegt unter einer halben Stunde Fahrt von Lindau und Friedrichshafen in der Nähe eines Naturschutzgebiets. Sie selbst hat ein schön renoviertes Bad (leider ohne Fenster), der Rest wirkt auch schön, jedoch im "alten Stil". Es ist schön ruhig, gut geeignet zum Entspannen, aber trotzdem nicht allzu weit vom nächsten Supermarkt. Wir haben die Wohnung hauptsächlich mit dem Kamin beheizt, was mit etwas Erfahrung auch gut funktioniert. Leider war nicht alles Geschirr ganz sauber, es hat...
