"If you are looking for something different and more of an experience for your stay, this house boat is something to consider. You have to take a dingy (very stable) out the the boat, a decent distance offshore, but everything worked great and was easy to operate. We brought groceries with us and there is a nice kitchen area and refrigerator that worked well for us. The stay on the boat was a nice getaway if you are looking for some solitude and quietness. Plenty of space on the boat to hang out...

"We LOVED the Grey Lady and Mangrove Marina. Like another reviewer stated - location, location, location, which is why I picked this particular houseboat for my husband and I. It sits at the end of the marina with unobstructed views. I only have a few minor complaints. 1) I did not receive any communication regarding the check in process. We arrived at the marina around 4:30 pm and had to call the phone number listed in VRBO to find out how to check in. 2) there was an overwhelming smell of...

"Everything was great. Houseboat was clean and functional. Folks at the marina were friendly and at night we met many locals at The Dive Bar. Good food and company by the fire, cornhole, friendly kids who live at the marina taught our son to fish and catch lobsters. Great time, we look forward to going back! "

"What a GREAT experience. The views in the morning and evening were wonderful , like OMG wonderful. Slept like a baby on the water. The faculties in the marina were wonderful, shower by pool was nice roomy and HOT water. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We loved our stay. There were some issues with our house boat when we got in. We checked in super late, but the staff more than made up for it the next day. Super friendly and responsive. They were awesome, and waited until we left for the day and came in promptly handling everything.The property itself was heavenly. We will definitely come again. "Lourdes was a gem to work with! The moment we walked in she made us feel right at home, so do the people that stay on the boat full time. "This place was beautiful and peaceful our only complaint would have to be that due to reservations with our Charter we were never able to resolve the issue with the TV in our room because we were gone before the office opened and Made it back after the office closed. Other than that everyone at the marina was kind and welcoming"

"Love this place! Very friendly and secluded. Not your typical resort-look elsewhere if that’s what you want. But if you want a friendly private sailing camp where you hang out with other fun people and like to sail and kayak, this is absolutely it! The use of the sailboat alone more than pays for the room."

"Anna and the front desk staff were absolutely amazing! During my daughter and son in law (newlyweds ) stay they were treated like royalty! Service at the outside tiki bar was impeccable, second to none! Incredible stay for my daughter‘s one day honeymoon!! We will never forget our experience at Cheeca Lodge!! Absolutely lovely!!"
