"Staff were lovely, very helpful esp when it was my mums birthday and they gave her a box of chocolates However, the hotel has become very tired looking and outdated. Sofas are worn, carpets have holes in them, bathrooms need showers instead of baths (especially for the older) Having to walk outside to get to the pool. It also is very tired and outdated Gardens are beautiful and kept immaculate "

We found the spa facilities lacking compared to other similarly-rated hotels: the pool temperature was rather cold and sunloungers were uncomfortable.
