"I don't like to put negative energy out into the Universe BUT... from the steep slippery stairs to the upside down entry door to the lack of water- no water at all in the morning- then the sulfuric water. And then there was the creepy cat picture on the wall. We named the place the S King Lodge after our favorite horror writer. The stairs alone are a red red flag. "Don’t let the photos fool you. It’s a much bigger space than the listing shows. Great layout. Amazing back yard. Unfortunately couldn’t enjoy the yard and creek as much as we wanted to due to a blizzard (which was beautiful) and it became a little too cold to spend time outside. Perfect location too 10-15 min from bars, restaurants wildlife and stores. 5 stars!"

"This is a very interesting and unique place and I’m glad we stayed here - it was perfect for seeing Phish 3 nights in a row at nearby Bethel Woods - but there are some major drawbacks renters should be aware of. One is that the parking situation is horrendous. The parking area is on a different road behind the cabin and is actually a pretty far walk over treacherous rocks, and the parking area is very small - there’s only room for 2 small cars or one big vehicle.
