"As a woman traveling solo on business, I felt very safe staying in Winston-Salem at this B&B. The Alspaugh King Room is gorgeous. It is thoughtfully appointed and beautifully decorated. The bathroom is just incredible, with a claw-foot tub and a large shower. They even gave me complimentary wine and pretzels at check-in. Three restaurants were just a short walk away, too. I loved every minute of staying here - it was incredibly relaxing after a long day of travel. "

"This bed and breakfast is located in the heart of Old Salem. The inn is in a 150 year old home and is very charming. My wife and I enjoyed a nice romantic weekend getaway here. The inn host was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The complimentary breakfast was very good. There’s a lot of nearby historic sites to view, and some really good restaurants located very close by. I highly recommend staying at the Zevely Inn."

"My daughter and I stayed at Summit Street Inn for a weekend of college touring and getting to know Winston Salem. This inn is beautiful and clean, conveniently located at the “end” of downtown. We felt safe and walked to dinner and other outings. The home is well maintained with a mix of old (original creeky floors) and new (bathrooms) and lovely gardens! We will be back!"

"This place had all of the convenience of home and then some. Beautiful sun room that overlooks the pool area and river. Our stay was short so we did not get a chance to use the hot tub but it was sanitized and ready to go. Very nice neighborhood. Kevin was very quick to respond and super accommodating. We would highly recommend this property. "

"We rented a 2 bedroom apartment, and it was very spacious. The location was also great, with dining options close by. It was very quiet and we felt safe the entire time. The only issue we had was the water pressure was very low in the showers. The cleanliness was ok, the refrigerator was a bit dirty and there was hair on the sheets in the beds. The washing machine also didnt work while we were there, but they were very fast in assisting us. Overall I would definitely stay there again. "
