A room with a view and soaking tub is highly recommended. The rooms and shared spaces are beautiful, warm, and smell very good. We took advantage of the pool table, free bowling, hiking trails, and the previously mentioned-amenities. The on-site restaurant called "The Dining Room" was not worth the money, as the meals...

"I stayed at Twin Gables when I attended a concert at Bearsville Theater. While the inn is fairly close to Bearsville, it is not walkable. What is walkable are many quaint shops and restaurants! My room was cute and comfortable. I appreciated the large bathroom and toiletries as well. Breakfast at the inn was a nice touch. I enjoyed talking with the innkeeper, who is fun and social. Excellent stay overall! "
