Rooms were somewhat dorm style rather than hotel: no irons or other amenities, but functional with a fun built-in designed desk. Cold water shower still something I find hard to get used to. Took me a while to figure out the remote for the air conditioning unit was weak, thought it just didn't work which made the 2nd floor room uncomfortable, but standing a few feet away to operate all was well. Friendly staff to prepare a breakfast for you."

"The place was very clean, and the staff (Alvaro and his son were really warm and welcoming We had steak, sausage, rice and French Fries by a bonfire at night. We were in a clear bubble where we had a beautiful view at night of the forest and sky. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic too. But once again, the cleanliness was amazing. A white sink, toilet, etc in the middle of the jungle in pristine condition, wow. Just a great environment and a chance to actually relax because we were taken care of so well."

"Very charming town and wonderful people. Great place to spend some time lounging in the hammocks to the sounds of the village. Room was basic but had what you need. The meals offered are authentic and very filling. Electric/internet only a few hours a day so a great place to disconnect for a bit. "
