"We stayed here as the hotel is close to the airport and we had a very early departure. We were going to the AFL at Optus Stadium the afternoon before and the free bus service to the ground left and returned just outside the hotel. Very convenient and seamless transport. The pool was much appreciated on a 33 degree day and restaurant waitress was very helpful in delivering our pizza dinner poolside. The bed was incredibly comfortable and hard to get out of at 3am to take the excellent shuttle service to the airport which leaves every hour. Highly recommend this very pleasant hotel. "

"A nicely located hotel with views overlooking the Swan River. Close to centre of Perth. Comfortable rooms. Air conditioning didn't seem to be working when I arrived, but was fine for the following days. Breakfast was good value, but I would have welcomed more choice."

"We had a great time during out 3 night stay at The Esplanade, it is a beautiful building with lots of choice as far as spending time in the bars, restaurants or poolside. The room was stock standard, nothing over the top special, but the bed was very comfortable, it was very roomy. I liked the option to not have the room serviced in exchange for a credit on stay, what a great incentive and makes perfect sense. The bathroom shower floor looked like it needed a good scrub but other than that room was clean. I also liked the Chromecast option on the TV, this gave us the freedom to watch anything that we had access to on our phone, great idea. Location is brilliant and very close to everything."

"My stay was amazing. From the minute I walked in, the hospitality was top notch. My room was spotless. A fantastic feature (for me anyway) is lights could be controlled right from the bed. The room also had an under the bed soft light that kept it light enough to get to the restroom without having to turn on any other lights — but not too light to be disruptive. The only tiny thing for me is the pillows aren’t soft like I am used to. They were a little uncomfortable. That said, I was able to fall asleep. If I visit Perth again I will definitely stay here. "
