"Nous avons passé un très beau séjour au chalet de la diablerie. La propriété est très bien équipée et à proximité des chemins de randonnées. La vue de la montagne de la terrasse est magnifique et le coucher du soleil illumine les monts d'une lumière légèrement rosée. Ces 14 jours en juillet nous ont ressourcés et le temps de plus était vraiment très beau. Le soir la température tombe vers les 20 degrés ce qui permet de passer des nuits agréables. Il y a pas de nuisance sonore. Nous remercions...

"We were a party of 10 (2 families). The Chalet suited us perfectly. 4 x double bedrooms and a "kids" room. Hot tub was excellent. Very convenient for the Barbossine Chair lift, though unfortunately in February 2024 there wasn't enough snow to be able to ski back down, so we had to get the bus from town. The first few days we tried to get Bus 2 form Super Chatel, but it was always rammed and we had to wait about an hour, then we worked out that if we got on a Linga we always got the first bus...

John was very helpful recommending restaurants and replying to messages quickly. The ski area was excellent for all abilities, with lovely restaurants to explore up the mountains. Thank you John."

"Het huis was heel fijn, van alle gemakken voorzien. We waren met 14 personen en de keuken was hier goed in voorzien. Ook heel fijn dat iedere kamer een eigen badkamer heeft. Voor de bus naar Pre la Joux moet je een klein stukje omhoog lopen, is op een paar minuten loopafstand. Het centrum kun je lopend bereiken, ongeveer 20 minuten. We zouden het huis zeker aanraden!"

"It was very cute & within a ten minute walk to the the village. Located on a hillside has a fantastic view up the valley towards the ski area. It has wood interior & a decent kitchen with gas job, electric oven, fridge, toaster, kettle & coffee maker. Furnishings were pleasant and clean. Bed was comfy. It is two levels high, downstairs the kitchen, small tv, dining area and bathroom. There is a shower with a deluge shower head & unlimited red hot water. Great after a hard day skiing!...

The chalet was very spacious with plenty of rooms and bedrooms - the kitchen was especially well stocked . Yveline the owner was very helpful - she made restaurant bookings in advance for us, organised daily deliveries of fresh bread and croissants and helped out when we had a couple of transport issues. "This is an older chalet where you can feel the history of those before you. The setting is magical. If you want a luxurious chalet, there are other options. This is for those who appreciate the country, and like being off the beaten path. For us, it was perfect."

"A lovely chalet with an extra large balcony that has amazing, expansive views of the lake. Perfect place to watch the fireworks from across the lake for the Swiss National Day! We ate most of our meals outside on the balcony. The grandkids loved exploring the outdoor grounds. The house was nicely equipped and the owners were easy to contact and helpful when needed. The loft bedrooms might be difficult for some people to climb the ladder up to. A beautiful house with a beautiful view."

"Nous avons passé un très beau séjour dans ce joli chalet d'époque plein de vie et d'atmosphère situé dans un village protégé. Le jardin est très agréable et la cuisine bien équipée. Nous avons pu faire de très jolies randonnées dans les environs : au massif de la Berneuse, au lac de Chavonnes, au lac Retaud et au col des Anderets face au massif des Diablerets, ... "This hotel is amazing. Not just beautiful, but an incredible view of the lake and the Alps. I love having a bath robe and slippers in my room. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was incredible."

"What a wonderful stay!! I was pleasantly surprised. I will say the comments from everyone were correct and helped with me to choose this property. It was my first trip to Vevey so i was very skeptical. I am a Hilton/Marriott member and was scared to death. Now I will NOT stay anywhere else but at Astra. the location is PERFECT especially if you will ride the train. The rooms will be beyond clean!! I am a germ-phob and I couldn't find anything to complain about LOL. Great stay if you are from the U.S. and looking for the comforts of home this is the place. Same as a Hilton. I did upgrade my room to a bigger room but that was just because i knew ahead of time that overseas rooms tend to run on the smaller side. Book it you wont be upset."

Excellent stay at Mona Hotel

"We loved our stay at Hotel Mona. I highly recommend to book a room with Lakeview, amazing view of lake Geneva. Our room was spacious, it had an included mini bar at no extra charge, chocolates and wine. Breakfast buffet was very good and has plenty of options, including omelette station. There's always coffee, tea, water and juice at the lobby free of charge and in the evening they bring out a Pop corn machine and candy. It also has a Jacuzzi, outdoor seating by the lake. There's laundry facilities free of charge, just ask at the reception for the key, the laundry room also has the ice maker machine and a microwave. The hotel's location couldn't be better, 5 minutes from the train station, 1 minute to the tram stop, the Freddy Mercury statue is less than 10 minutes walk by the lake, and shopping and restaurants close by. Customer service was excellent; we hope to come back to Mona Hotel."
