"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cal Talaia. Teresa and Uli were great hosts. It felt as though we had the entire village to ourselves. The apartment was well equipped with an extensive kitchen, large dining table and comfortable beds. A great place for rest, relaxation, walking (our dogs loved it too) and appreciating the beautiful scenery. We basked in the winter sun. A highlight of our week in Glorieta was a ceramics lesson with Teresa in her studio. Her own work decorates the house and gardens and contributes a magical quality to the warm and welcoming environment. "

"Cool architecture! Very, very accommodating staff. The food, both dinner and breakfast were excellent. We also did the winery tour (need to reserve in advance) which I'd highly recommend. "

"This was a lovely experience, if you like hotel chains do not go here, but if you want something that is what i believe to be a traditional family run spanish hotel, it is very quaint. The owners only speak spanish but with google translate they were very helpful. I think the description on the hotels.com website is a bit inaccurate, as there is a communal pool in the village but not at the hotel, and no hot tub as far as i know. But that is not why we visited. The small village was beautiful, and very well kept. There is no parking at the hotel but there was plently of lit parking a few metres from the hotel. Breakfast was traditional continental, fresh and tasty. (Ham cheese pastries, toast, jams, orange juice and importantly good coffee). Also not far from the main ap7 autoroute. Thank you for your hospitality, i would recommend this small hotel for an overnight stay."

"Wonderful host"

"We went as a group of friends for my husbands 40th. The villa was very oldie worldy with so many rooms and so much character and charm. It was just perfect for a large group so you don’t feel in top of each other. Maria the house keeper was an Angel and ever so helpful. The only downside was not being able to check in until 17.00 when our flight arrived at 9.00 it was a long day and not much nearby to stay out of the way. Then again check out early at 10.00 is a waste of your last night there as you have to be up and out and packed etc.. when you are only going for three days it’s far too early to check out. However Maria arranged to let us stay by the pool until 12.00 as long as we were out of all the bedrooms by 10.00 so they could start the cleaning process so we massively appreciated her in so many ways. We definitely want to go back we enjoyed it so much. The owners are great at keeping in contact running up to the trip and organised a birthday cake and decorations I asked for. All in all simply wonderful."

"Our family of five including three adult children ages 23-27 really enjoyed this home. It perfectly represented the Spanish countryside and wine region. The host communicated very responsively. Everything worked in the house. We had a wonderful wine tasting and wine pairing dinner at a winery about ten minutes away. The only two downfalls would be the distance to Barcelona was about 50 minutes, and as an American, I’m used to having a bed sheet under my body and one on top. Only a bed spread was provided on top, but I think that’s how many places do their beds in Europe. It just felt dirty even though it probably wasn’t."
