"We had a wonderful 12 day stay! The Meynard family is very helpful and nice, the greeting was warm and friendly, and they were always available for anything we needed. They went above and beyond our expectations. The cottage is absolutely charming and very comfortable. It had everything we could possibly need. The grounds are beautiful, the swimming pool and jacuzzi are great. We would highly recommend this place to anyone and we would gladly return!"

"Loved this property and our holiday there. Fantastic gite out in the beautiful countryside with everything you need for your holiday - the open plan layout worked really well in the hot weather. Owners are next door and are super friendly and are ready to help if needed. We took our bikes so a short ride (also walkable) down to Laprade for the cool pizza restuarant/bar or a little further to Aubterre which has a beach by the river and the stunning village has plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants...

"This very clean and comfortable cottage is in the country a short drive from Sainte Emilion. Quiet, pastoral setting. It was out base for drives in the area and for a relaxing time at the end of the day. We opted for the breakfast which was very reasonable and delish - yougurt, fruit, pastries, juice and coffee. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The furnishings were modern and comfortable. Everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay."

"The property was very well located, being close to the town of Chalais with a decent size Intermarche and Monday market. It was situated at the head of a farm track leading into fields of corn and sunflowers. The gite was spacious and clean and the bedrooms comfortable. It was good to have 2 bathrooms. We really enjoyed using the swimming pool and our youngest liked the swing in the tree! We had lots of BBQs. Only small niggle was that we were unable to find the toaster? Also not enough mugs,...
