"Les Alouettes was as described. A great chalet for two families of four with extra 2 beds on a mezzanine. It was a shortish walk to a button/T-bar lift/bus to gondola - we used hire car to go to car park nearer lifts as too far for children in ski-boots. Not many food shopping outlets so worth getting a shop delivered (very efficient Coop service). The chalet was really comfortable with very good facilities for cooking (we didn't eat out at all). "We were a party of 10 (5 adults, 5 kids) and the chalet layout was perfect--4 double rooms and a large kid bunk room. Was a comfortable and beautiful place to stay while exploring the area. So many activities in the area in the summer! We hiked nearby trails, and did some road trips to mineral baths and the Atlesch glacier.
