"This property is of high end quality. Extremely well appointed. Couldn't find a fault with anything. The concierge is helpful ,pleasant and always on the end of a text message if needed. The pool for which she also cares for was always spotless, it is cleaned every day. The gite is in a perfect position for visiting Loches and the Chateaux's of the Loire. The local boulangerie in the village has an excellent range of breads savouries and patissiere. The owners are very helpful and welcoming."

"Lieu agréable de par sa situation, malheureusement les photos représentant la maison datent un peu et ne ressemblent pas à la réalité, elle est peu entretenue. Déception en arrivant, et en rentrant à l’intérieur c’était même un peu glauque, nous avons vite tout ouvert pour aérer afin d’éviter de sentir cette odeur d’humidité. les literies ne sont ni propres ni très confortables, Les lits avaient été fait avec du linge de lit dépareillé et comprenant des tâches. "Got off to a bad start but the house and facilities were great. Lots of useful and helpful communication about local services and a great location to visit the chateaux."

"Never write reviews but felt compelled to leave one here. The pictures don’t do this listing justice, the house was larger than we imagined much to our delight. The outside areas are massive and completely secluded, the pool is bigger than the picture suggests and was a big hit with kids and adults alike. Internally the house is beautifully furnished but really practical and functional. Would happily come back again. As others have said you ideally need a car (which we had) as it is remote,...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Pierre et Vacances in Loches. The apartment was clean, quiet and quite spacious (for the 2 of us) and we had a nice balcony overlooking the town. The parking was very good and it is a few minutes walk into the town where there are several places to eat."

"What a great holiday we had at this lovely gîte. It is spacious and extremely well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden is lovely and has a plenty to keep everyone of all ages occupied, including table tennis, zip line, boules and the pool. A big attraction are the animals which you can help look after, a pony, goats and some chickens. A great find and we hope we can stay there again!"

"This place was amazing. Beginning with "Greg" (best we Texans could do pronouncing this nice young man's name) who greeted us and parked our van and got us dinner reservations in the on-site Restautant and escorted us to our lovely rooms. We felt like we were in an ancient chateau with all of the modern comforts. I guess we were! Walking distance to everything in the charming town of Amboise. Our group of five declared this our favorite place is a two-week French road trip. We would all go back and stay a month if we could. "
