"Enjoyed a pleasant two night stay here. With some advanced notice, we were able to arrive late and check in the following morning. The room was comfortable for my family of 5 and Herve served a fabulous breakfast for us each morning. Herve provided us with a map of Lyon and circled some places we should visit for a daytrip into the city. "Splendid little place high on the hill behind Chinas with huge views. Really welcoming, handy little private garden with our room, good pool at a comfortable temperature. Food was good simple family cooking but very well executed. We have eaten in more expensive places in the region but sometimes after a long drive something non-challenging is just what the dr ordered. "Magnifique gîte au milieu de la campagne, la chambre était spacieuse, ensoleillée et la literie très confortable ! Le parc est juste magnifique, avec des poules et des oies . Il y a aussi un magnifique piscine avec un jacuzzi :) Le petit déjeuner est copieux, avec pain frais, croissants, jus de fruits maison, confitures et miel maison, j'ai même eu droit à des oeufs frais :D Les confitures sont en vente à un prix correct, Christophe est un super hôte nous reviendrons très bientôt !"

"This place would have been what it promised, a place of dreams: remote, rural, beautiful, wonderfully appointed, easygoing, friendly. BUT. After going quite a long distance out of our way to find this special place, being greeted by the friendly owner, moving into our room, and hitting the pool, the owner returned to tell us that he had double-booked the room, and we would have to leave. So we had to get out, get dressed, and leave to make another drive to find another hotel (sight unseen)......
