Bastide le Colombier

Bastide Le Colombier is a beautiful Provençal bastide with a living area of 190m2, available for up to 8 persons, on 5 minutes walking distance of the centre of Les Arcs with its many delicious restaurants. The bastide is set on a private plot of 2000m2 surrounded by ancient olive trees and you have a beautiful view. There is a private swimming pool (10m x 4.5m). The bastide has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is a spacious living room and open-plan kitchen with patio doors leading onto the covered terrace with an outdoor kitchen.

INTERIOR
Bastide Le Colombier is a beautiful villa with a living space of 190 m2, for up to 8 people. The Bastide has 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms and a lovely outdoor kitchen. The house is furnished with great taste and is spacious and bright.

Ground floor:

The entrance hall leads onto the living room and kitchen / dining room, which both have large doors opening onto the terraces and garden.

The living room has a lovely sitting area with fireplace, TV with French and international channels, a radio CD post and internet connection. The open kitchen – dining room is equipped with various appliances, such as 5 ring cooker with oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave oven. In the utility room is the washing machine, iron / ironing board and an extra fridge / freezer.

The house has underfloor heating / cooling*, making the temperature in the house always constant.

The first bedroom is on the ground floor, with a double bed and large wardrobe. The room has a beautiful private bathroom with shower, basin and WC. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms with a view over the garden and swimming pool and 2 bathrooms. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, a wardrobe and a private bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. Bedroom 3 has 1 single bed of 90 * 190 cm, a sofabed of 140 * 190 cm and a cupboard. This room has a shared bathroom with bedroom 4. The bathroom has a large tub and double basin and a separate WC. Bedroom 4 has a double bed 160*200 cm. fitted wardrobe.

Also babies are more than welcome in this house with a foldable baby bed with real mattress of 60*20*8 cm, a kids chair and a buggy at your disposal.

* Floor cooling: This system will lower the temperature in the house slightly. This is done by means of a pipe system in the floor construction. The room temperature is usually around 25 degrees. To prevent condensation on or in the floor, the water temperature in the pipes must not be lower than this. This system is indirect and does not have the same effect as air conditioning.

*For this property, the concierge service offers extras such as the delivery and placement of your groceries, the service of a catering chef, organization of events, tourist outings, and much more (for a fee).

EXTERIOR
Bastide le Colombier is a beautiful Provençal Bastide in private grounds of 2000m2 surrounded by ancient olive trees. There is a private pool (10×4.5m), with the obligatory alarm. At the end of the pool are wide steps leading into the water – ideal with small children. Around the pool you can find plenty of sun loungers, parasols, a garden furniture set and there is also a large sycamore at the pool that provides welcoming shade.

On the covered patio off the kitchen is a large dining table for 8 people and an outdoor kitchen consisting of a sink and a electrical plancha.

Through the driveway and the olive grove, you reach the entrance to the fortified town, where you find plenty of parking for several cars.

The house is about 5 minutes walk from the centre of Les Arcs, where you will find a baker, butcher and several cafés and restaurants. Hyper Marche Les Arcs (very large supermarket) is just 5 minutes by car.

In the area there are many wine chateaux and the famous Provençal markets. Highly recommended is the Tuesday morning market in Lorgues. The beaches of Frejus and St. Tropez are 30 km and Nice, Cannes and Toulon / Hyers all within 1 hour.

The cleaning of the house is mandatory and is € 220 per stay (this is NOT yet included in the rental price!)

A perfect place for exploring the whole of Provence
A nice house with great location just outside Les Arcs. Good sleeping facilities for the whole family, good kitchen and storage room. The outside area with the pool was perfect! Good parking opportunities for at least three cars. The "air condition" wasn't working very well on in the sleeping rooms though. And be prepared for mosquitos! All together a wonderful stay!

Wunderschönes Haus und Garten, aber ......
... aber leider keine Agentur, die sich um den Kunden kümmert. Trotz Ausschreibung hatten wir 5 Tage kein Internet. Für die Beseitigung dieses Mangels bekamen wir einen falschen Termin genannt und hatten einen ganzen Tag die Handwerker im Haus. Das Fernsehgerät (angeblich internationale Programme) konnte uns nicht erklärt werden. Der Pool war verschmutzt und wurde trotz unserer Bitte erst nach knapp einer Woche gereinigt (auch da wurde uns ein falscher Termin genannt). Die in der Bildbeschreibung des Hauses gezeigte Kaffeemaschine war defekt. Die Erstattung einer von uns beschafften Ersatzmaschine wurde von der Agenturmitarbeiterin in Aussicht gestellt, aber leider nicht vollzogen. Schade, bei einem so schönen, aber doch recht teuren Haus, sollten solche Ärgernisse nicht vorkommen!
