"I enjoyed my stay. It was a perfect room with a balcony overlooking a small square with restaurants. It was pretty lively till early morning, but was not really disturbed in the room. The owner told me about the fish restaurant downstairs, so i tried it. I got the fish and chips. Very different from the British version as it was nit battered. But, it was some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Really appreciate talking to the owner. Very enjoyable stay. "

"We stayed in the Cutelli Suite, it was nice as pictured. Very close to most of the attractions in Catania. Most of them less than a 10 to 15 minute walk. Also plenty of restaurants the same distance. The staff was very nice and helpful."

"We actually walked to the property from the Catania bus station. This location is near bars, sex shop etc. I would it was unsafe but it also didn't feel very safe either because all the bars it's surrounded by. Outside of the property/street isn't super clean but it's Catania and most of the street were dirty. Inside the hotel was clean and super beautiful. The staff was super nice and helpful. Our AC seems to not work correctly.. so we got super hot at night..we stayed only one night so we just...

"This B&B is lovely and the host was excellent and very helpful. Be aware that access is on the side of the building adjacent to a parking lot through 2 locked metal gates and you must be prepared to carry your luggage up 2 flights of stairs as the elevator starts on floor 1. Unfortunately just around the corner from the property are homeless people sleeping on the street and in doorways and a lot of garbage and graffiti everywhere but this seems typical for all of Catania. "We arrived at about 3pm and searched for about 10 minutes to find our hotel. Luckily we spotted a small sign in front of a locked door. We needed to phone the owner for access. The hotel was 4 flights up the stairs but the room itself was nice. The hotel was very close to the plaza with lots of restaurants and shops available. "Very good host, who waited for us at the door, and helped us to secure a free parking slot. The room is specious and elegant. We really like the location, where is pretty much walking distance to every attraction. If the breakfast can upgraded a little bit, it would be perfect 5 star B&B. "A short walk from the station and bus station. Lovely ancient building tucked away above a row of local shops. Central courtyard a boon for smokers. We'll try and come again. Really friendly helpful shopkeeper next door, open late on a Sunday. Won't provide a gourmet meal, but will keep the wolf from the door and enable a good night's sleep until the cake and coffee breakfast in this accommodation."

"Amazing hotel. Lives up to the reviews we researched before our stay. The staff are very helpful and the food is very tasty if you choose to eat at the hotel in the evening. "Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday."

"The staff were wonderful. Check in and out was quick and easy. We had maintenance people come quickly for a problem with our refrigerator and toilet. The breakfast was outstanding. The lobby is beautiful. The property is a bit aged and needs some updating. "

Lovely hotel

"Lovely hotel. Really well situated and just across the road from the airport bus. And a beautiful park. On a busy shopping street (but with none of the noise, at least not in our room which was on the second floor and facing into a courtyard). Breakfast was lovely with a good choice, high ceilings and nice features. Comfy bed. Would recommend. Only downside is that there is no lift so be prepared to carry luggage up the stairs. "
