"The excellent comfort of this guest house enhanced our stay in Glasgow. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the choices were extensive. The only thing I would change is to book a room with ensuite next time. It was only a short walk to the bathroom however the sink in our room did a gurgling sound for about 10 mins after being used. Not great when you are trying to get off to sleep 😪 "

"Great location. Easy walk to train/bus. Cool medieval/castle property. Nicely furnished. Small but comfortable room. Ensuite bathroom very nice and all immaculately clean. Host/owner is very friendly. I ordered the light breakfast which was excellent in a beautiful dining room. There is also a very pretty back courtyard. I was able to store luggage for the day."

"We loved the Riverside room. Beautiful view of the river. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept in so we didn’t get a chance to have the breakfast, but it looked like it was going to be amazing. The host are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even gave us some extra cookies that Brian had made.! "

"This is a great place to stay for a night or longer. The host is fantastic! She even remembers everyone’s name! The house is spotless and has beautiful views from large windows. Her breakfasts for guests are epic! The castle is located a short walk, unfortunately up, to the top of the mountain. There is a paved walking trail that leads you to restaurants, bats and shopping. We had a wonderful time staying there in those comfortable rooms!"

"Overall, a really good stay and excellent value for money. The decor etc. is quite dated and a little tired in places, but comfortable and generally clean, and the owner was extremely helpful and welcoming. A great breakfast with good quality ingredients. Some attention to detail with cleaning would be helpful - eg some mould in shower, and bathroom fan grill quite grimy, the odd cobweb, and some accumulated dust in nooks and crannies. But could not fault bedding, towels etc., and the bed was...
