"The hosts are amazing. We felt right at home at this lovely hotel. The family did their outmost best to make our stay comfortable. The owner namal is very helpful in arranging anything you need such as transportation or tours for very reasonable prices. "A very pleasant property overall, located in gardens with a lovely pool. However, it was very difficult to locate, with no signage from the main road at all. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, the lady of the house was extremely charming, while the gentleman was a little overbearing. The room was simple but adequate, however the bathroom could have been better maintained. The breakfast - B&B style - was good."

"Royal Majesty Bungalow was the most unique place we stayed on our 20 day trip through Sri Lanka. The hotel is the 6th oldest plantation house built in Sri Lanka and converted into a couple of room bed-and-breakfast type place. If you enjoy history this is a great place to stay. "I booked Kurunduketiya as a birthday present for my partners 30th and some nice accommodation to finish our holiday at. However due to poor administrational errors, the resort didn’t have the correct details of our booking which we had paid for in full. It wasn’t until I reached out with questions about the booking 5 days prior that they contacted me to tell me that they had double booked and that we had to cut our stay short one night. "The Grand Argyle Resort & Villas was a beautiful location. Our room was very clean and spacious. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. There was a pool table located upstairs and an outdoor pool, however, it was not clean enough to enter. We did enjoy walking around the property and site seeing. The area offers spectacular views! I would recommend this hotel to others! "
