"The hotel is on a square in a lovely part of town, with free parking available on the square and a street back too. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a small pool and space to lounge in the sun. The rooms were very clean and the electric blinds kept out the sun brilliantly. The staff didn't speak much english but we muddled through."

"We just came from a wonderfull stay at this paradise. The service was at it finest, and the location to. We were so lucky, that the staff (Susanna) upgraded our room to a supirior, because there were one free. The room was so beautifull - the combination of wood, stone and “farm” style has sat an impression of us. You really need to experience this place. Both the location, but very much the service indeed. Incredible breakfeast, haven’t got anyting near this standard for the money before....

"We loved this beautiful guest house, which has been lovingly and sympathetically restored by Ana, the helpful and gentle owner. It's set in magnificent, tranquil and quiet surroundings, and above all natural and eco friendly. Our room and bathroom were perfect and immaculately clean with furnishings to match the age and history of the house. Ana's breakfasts are superb with organic and locally sourced ingredients. "We liked the atmosphere of the old house. The grounds were beautiful. The staff person was very friendly and helpful. She doesn’t speak English, but between a little Spanish on our part and sign language, it was a wonderful experience. We learned a little Portuguese! Would stay again if ever in the area."

"This is the second time we stay at this beautiful place. Great location, comfortable rooms, good food, and most importantly amazing staff that always go the extra mile to make your stay a special one. Special thanks go to Mr. José Mendez who always makes sure that all guests are having a wonderful time. "Location and setting is amazing, it truly feels integrated with the park it’s set within, and with that comes this great sense of peacefulness which we loved . Staff are super friendly, breakfast/ restaurant is very acceptable and decent dishes, tea and scones are a must try. But not all is well here, with signs of decay or lack of maintain in and around the houses, including frayed bath robes, chipped countertops and wood panelings.
