"Very warm on arrival as someone had put all the heating on which was required as was cold outside. Wine and snacks on table upon arrival, but no indication on whether for our consumption or not, so we left there. Back French doors had a large gap underneath which counteracted the heat pumps on. We blocked with towels. Apart from that, the property was gorgeous. Best beds and pillows. Highly recommend this property. Would stay again, no hesitation."

"The house was perfect, across the road from two of our weekend destinations, and just a very short drive to the commercial centre and restaurants, cafes etc. Very comfortable accommodations, well set up and everything we needed was on site. Also close to the bus stop at Sovereign Hill and the Rare Trades Centre if you are a non-driver. Will stay there again "

"Was so great to have so much space, even played cricket out of the rain in the loooong carport! Kids loved it. Even invited the inlaws over for dinner, and long lost friends over for after noon tea! So much space! So warm! Great hot water, great electric blankets and heating. We lapped the lake, saw the botanic gardens, chased swans, played at timezone, ate ice-cream, had great vietnamese, did a few pubs, toured Sovereign Hill, tried a few opp shops, had our nails done, did the art gallery - we...

"Upon arrival there was fresh bread and fruit. Lovely touch unexpected. The unit was beautiful, very clean. Very well equipped with everything you could need. The heating system was awesome, kept the unit at a very cosy temperature. Host Mary is very easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Ballarat"
