"We were looking for a property very close to a fishing tournament marina and this was 5 minutes away. The property was nice and worked well for us."

"Beautiful location. We loved the dock and porch. There were a few crumbs in the kitchen and mold/mildew on the shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom. The house was old and a fixer upper. Very rustic, but we loved it!"

"The place had all we needed. The weather was perfect also. The only thing I would have like to change is the lake level. But that is out of our hands. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Bill was an awesome host!! "

Breathtaking view looking towards Texas Island and Louisiana.

"We were looking for a place to stay that would accommodate our two grown sons, wives, and two grandchildren. For a large group, this fits the bill perfectly. We loved the layout, the large patios (top and bottom), the view of the lake, the boat slips, and all of the space to move around in. The kitchen fit our needs (we didn't use the one on the bottom floor) and the house had everything we needed. The boat launch is just around the corner. The slope of the driveway was our only challenge. ...

"After searching for a place to accommodate the size of our party and our pocket books.. we found this hidden gem.. we had a blast.. lots of memories were made. We celebrated our parents 50th Wedding Anniversary, as well as visited with all our siblings and their families. We will definitely plan another stay at this cabin on the lake!!"

"The advertising picture shows a view straight to the lake when in reality, there is a house on that foundation directly blocking the view. The house was very old and outdated and there were crumbs left on the bed covers in the room with the bunk beds. I had to wash the sheets before my daughter would stay in there. The layout is very strange. There is no primary bedroom with an attached bathroom. There is a bedroom upstairs that looks like it was added on later and it stays very hot in that room...
