"We loved how close the property was to many great shops and restaurants. It was very quiet and peaceful and beautifully decorated. The off-street parking was in a pretty tight garage - best for a small car. Unfortunately there was never enough hot water to use the large bath in the royal suite but we were able to shower fine. Overall we had a great time here and would stay again in the future"

"Very unique hotel offered at reasonable rates during off-season. Business model for hotel is staff free so combination lock is sent at noon time to your email for entry. Room for 3 people was spacious with full kitchenette set. Very convenient as hotel is not setup to provide breakfast. Walked to Old Quebec City. Did try to communicate via email and phone call with a question but neither means responded. Otherwise, no issues with hotel. I am not sure why Orbitz listed parking available...

"Excellent service at the front desk. If you’re not sure where to go eat share your budget and ask for recommendations and they will be more than happy to help you. Breakfast was good and a lot for three of us. If you’re driving to the hotel drive up to the entrance, grab your parking pass when you check in and drive across the road to park, it was all very convenient. Great location

"Well appointed home in a quiet and private, forested setting. Close to great attractions like Quebec City, Bora Parc, Stoneham & Mont-Saint-Anne resorts and many great skating trials and outdoor activities. The hot tub was a fun place to unwind after a day of strenuous activities; clean and fully operational. The kitchen was large and had all of the tools needed to make great home cooked meals. The grocery store was close as well. We really enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. "

"This chalet was the perfect spot for our family to gather and visit with our son who is living in the area. The open layout and amenities in the chalet were great for our family game night. The drive to Old Quebec was easy as well (only 30 minutes away). We would definitely stay here again. "

Christmas in Quebec

"This place was very nice and very cozy. Note that it is not the whole house, only the side door which leads to a cozy little studio. I was very pleased with this stay, the owners were very nice, and although they live in the main house we had maybe one actual interaction, they did a good job keeping our privacy which we enjoyed. The only thing is it wasn't decorated for Christmas as promised. Since it is my favorite holiday and we spent most of the time at the house, especially Christmas day because it was so cold, it would have been very nice if it was decorated as discussed, but overall the experience was lovely. Quebec is a beautiful city, and the house isn't very far from Old Quebec itself (about 15 mins) which is a bonus! We also brought my little dog Archie and he had a blast! I would definitely stay here again! "

Cozy winter getaway

"My family and I stayed at Le Lys in December 2024. We felt the house was even better in person than in the pictures. It was VERY clean and well equipped for our 10 day vacation. There were plenty of untensils in the kitchen as we prepared most of our meals at the house. It is perfectly located for easy access to Quebec City and for outdoor activities and snow sports in Jacques Cartier Natl. Park, Stoneham Ski Resort and Valcartier tubing hill. We also enjoyed the hot tub every night after our daily outings which was a great way to relax in the cold winter evenings. "

Vacation Out of Country

"We travelled from Arizona for a week and stayed in this incredible cabin. It was secluded and quiet, even when other families clearly had all the other cabins booked. We used the kayaks for several days and had the best time on the river and on the private island…the whole property was thoughtfully and lovingly put together. We loved the wagons in the parking lot to haul your stuff. I cooked every day in the kitchen, the items supplied were clearly put together by someone who cooks, we literally had everything we needed to both grill and prepare great meals. We had a few issues with the WiFi, but the owners literally came to the cabin within 10 minutes of messaging them and were so kind and didn’t leave until it was fixed. I would recommend that anyone traveling to this area and looking for a quiet getaway would stay here!!! We are so grateful!"
