The check-in was busy (two other groups arriving within 5 minutes), but they had adequate staff to provide us all prompt service which had been an issue with some prior hotel/car bookings. While escorting me to my room, the host also made note of the time change that evening which I thought was very considerate where not all countries use...

The key was left in the door for me, my room has everything I needed, clean, comfortable bed, shower, but best of all it was SUPER quiet, I slept very well. The owner communicated with WhatsApp, and even recommended places to eat, I had a fantastic pizza 🍕 only a 10 minute walk away. This is good, basic accomodation and does exactly what it says. The location is incredible -- extensive views from both sides of the property; the hilltop village setting is out of a postcard with lovely little streets and nooks to explore; and the local shops, market days, restaurants provide everything needed locally. The property is adequate, a little rustic, but well suited to time outdoors by the lovely pool and as a springboard for day trips throughout amazing Tuscany....
