"This was an amazing holiday, it was a mixed bunch of ages but we all kept ourselves doing what we wanted. The house is amazing and modern but with the old rustic charm still within the old house. The swimming pool was the main attraction for the youngsters. It was big enough for all our party, and when the temperature dropped Jean soon put this right. Lacoste is an amazing place to visit, but all the surrounding area was beautiful. Great holiday xx"

"We arrived at the location and found it in good condition with friendly hosts who were helpful and generous with there time as well allowing us to enjoy are holiday. The pool was fantastic and private and the placement of the property gives you fantastic access to the towns of Apt, Lourmarin and Bonnieux. We enjoyed some great food in the restaurants in all of these as well as travellling to Aix Provence for a little shopping. The facilities on site allowed us to have BBQs and cooking dinners...

"Gilles was an excellent host, and the house and yard are fantastic. We really enjoyed Rustrel and the surrounding area. In addition to the great bakery in town, we liked Au Pierrot Blanc in Apt (lavender ice cream) and horseback riding at the Horse Farm De Joucas (beautiful trail rides through vineyards, lavender fields). There are so many great things to do nearby that it's hard to choose, though! We enjoyed all of the helpful recommendations from Gilles."

"From the time we arrived until we departed (too soon) we had a marvelous time. The gorgeous setting in Provence was perfect for our family of five. We could easily travel to towns like Gordes and Cassis to return to relax by the pool and dine in the patio kitchen. We even could watch some of the Olympics. Our host Peter greeted us when we arrived and had breakfast waiting for us our first morning. Truly a special time for our family! "

"The house is newly done, including the bathrooms so feels very clean. The furnishing however is tacky and not comfortable. But, the beds are all uncomfortable & creeky. Impossible to move without making noise. The pillows very uncomfortable. The sofas & chairs, except the indoor dining table, are very uncomfortable also. There is a lack of glasses & mugs. Winding stone staircases inside and out that give this home a castle feel. "We were 8 adult family members and a small child, and to a person we absolutely loved our 14 nights in June stay in this home.
