"We had a fabulous stay. The house is in a wonderful area, very quiet and rural yet only 3-4km from the nearest villages/ small towns with lots of great restaurants etc. The house itself is wonderful - a true home from home. The garden is 'rustic' but great for lots of people and the dog. Note - it is not fully fenced in, although there are hedge boundaries and gates to the main road, so the dogs can (and ours did!) escape! "The swimming pool was green with algea and very dirty. We could not use it . The kitchen was full of flies, which we spent a lot of money having to clean, buy fly spray, fly strip! The cleaning was very poor. Mattresses on beds stained. The house could be beautiful and is in a lovely setting. But is in a state of disrepair. Very disappointing as this was our first family holiday in 3 years."

There were plenty of bathrooms, almost one per bedroom and the gite was fully equipped with plenty of glasses, crockery, kitchen gadgets and other household items. The outside space worked perfectly for meals and we thoroughly enjoyed the generous pool. The two buildings have been sympathetically renovated to create a beautiful rustic retreat."

"We stayed at the house for 2 weeks in Aug 24. House was exactly as advertised. Check in process was easy and the owner lives next door and was happy to assist with any issues. He also visited the property early each morning to clean the pool. The location is quite remote but it's very peaceful and has lovely views over the neighbouring vineyards. If you want a quiet and peaceful break deep in the Ardeche then we highly recommend"
