"Our cottage was located about 30 minutes north of Bordeaux in a very quiet community. The owners lived right on the property and if we needed anything we’re just a knock on the door away. The unit itself reminded us of our lake cottage with cozy but somewhat outdated furniture. But that suited us just fine. Our main purpose was to have a home base to visit wine chateaus and it was perfect for that. "

Also, thank you to Tristain who met us on arrival and explained all to us. Facilities in the accommodation are good with excellent bed rooms and family dining area. The only issue for us was the shower in the lower bathroom: with first use we noticed it flooded out onto the floor - so had to use only a small flow of water...

"This apartment turned out to be ideal for me. The tram line was a 10-minute walk, and a LeClerc supermarket about a 6-minute walk. It isn't very close to any of the area attractions, but that means it was very quiet and peaceful, especially out in the beautiful garden! Everything is accessible by bus or tram, however. The place itself is clean and bright, and the open floor plan makes it convenient for hosting. The a/c was amazing during the hot days of summer! The owner provides a notebook...

"The owner of the house, Flo, was very helpful as our stay of 10 days was longer than the normal stay. We based out of the house in Bordeaux and did spend several nights out in other parts of the area. It is well located with easy access to bus for the train station and tram to go further downtown. "
