"This cottage is simply the best. Easy to find. The owners Jean Yves and Elisabeth are lovely. They speak good English and meet you on arrival/checking out. We stayed in contact with them during our stay as well. The cottage is so clean. Lots of attention to detail. Lovely sympathetically restored barn with oak beams (and not a cobweb in sight!!). "The location is on the edge of a quiet village and with only subtle sounds of frogs from the pond and whinnies from the horse it was bliss. This was our 2nd stay and would love to come back again. "Maddie (the owner)was there if required and very helpful. Well equipped and quiet place to stay. If you have children there is a vast amount od toys and a toy shed. "We had a very pleasant stay at this quirky octagonal cottage. It is in a little hamlet up a long lane so was very quiet. The owners house was closer than it seems in the photos but she left us to ourselves unless we needed something. The lane to the Le Gibet is narrow but is one way so you don't have to worry about meeting another car going up. Entering the lane going up the hill is fine as its on the right.
