We were a family of 7 with different aged children and there is so much to do and see. A highlight with kids was the nearby lake ‘ Le Lac’ only a 6 minute drive where we did water sports such as inflatables and paddle boards. "This cottage is simply the best. Easy to find. The owners Jean Yves and Elisabeth are lovely. They speak good English and meet you on arrival/checking out. We stayed in contact with them during our stay as well. The cottage is so clean. Lots of attention to detail. Lovely sympathetically restored barn with oak beams (and not a cobweb in sight!!). "I would agree with other reviews but to offer a different perspective, we chose this rental for two reasons, location & access for one of us using a wheelchair. Our experience of trying to book rentals has shown that people advertising rentals are generally scared of confirming accessibility because it is so personal and subjective. Generally, what is needed is photos of thresholds/steps/WCs etc for people to make their own mind up. We "

"The location is on the edge of a quiet village and with only subtle sounds of frogs from the pond and whinnies from the horse it was bliss. This was our 2nd stay and would love to come back again. Transport is required to access local shops but the ride out is so lovely it isnt a worry. We stayed for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and found it a good base to stay for the events.
