"Very quirky property, traditional French style in middle of St Valery with everything this beautiful town has to offer on the doorstep. Public parking available on the road just up from hotel. We stayed in Lawrence of Arabia suite which was interesting. Room to spread out in living area. Breakfasts are fantastic, with lovely fresh produce. Lovely host. "

"Willieman is a beautiful village. The accommodation was clean with enough space for 5. The owners were fantastic, superbly accommodating with food after the restaurant had closed and with a lovely breakfast. There is not much “to do” in Willieman but if your travels lead you there, would highly recommend this place to stay. "

And most of the place we visited were only 30 mins drive away. "On arrival to Dormio resort we were shocked to see that our house was opposite a building site and also the rear of the property. This was not mentioned on booking. The images shown on the web site were nothing like we saw. The house itself was very clean, but to be charged 80euros for the house to be cleaned on leaving is a complete rip off. We were told that we had to put our own duvet covers on and on leaving, strip the beds, take out the rubbish and clean the kitchen. Just wondering what 80...

"Despite it being very low season and most of St Valery sur Somme being shut for annual holidays, we had a lovely time. We were aware beforehand that this was the case. We have stayed at this lovey Gite before and it was fabulous then. Situated in the heart of the town it has beautiful views over the bay and is a lovely cosy fisherman’s cottage. Great facilities and beautifully clean. The check in was as easy as always and we hope to stay again. Thank you."
