"Really enjoyed our two-night stay in one of the turret suites. The hotel was still beautifully decorated for Christmas but very peaceful being a few days after Hogmanay. Overall condition of the building is excellent, especially given its age and historic nature, which must make it a real challenge to maintain. Our room, bathroom and the turret lounge above were very clean and well presented. Excellent comfy super-king bed. Public rooms were lovely - warm and welcoming. Swimming pool area...

"Easy check in experience & useful online check out. Spacious comfortable rooms that benefit from being in a building distinct from the restaurant & bar which creates a quieter environment. Great location and very easy to find, and park. Will stay again."

"Had a fabulous overnight stay with our granddaughter in a family room. We had a lovely room overlooking the front and over to Dunblane. Everything was comfortable. Loved the swimming pool. Staff were excellent and friendly everywhere we were, a real credit to the hotel. Breakfast was a huge selection of food served in lovely surroundings. Stayed with friends before and will definitely be back."

"Beautiful location with great views over Loch Ard and plenty of parking available onsite. Stay was enjoyable although Hotel needs a bit of updating in places. Overall experience was spoiled by the terrible restaurant service "

"It is a beautiful property, with friendly, chatty and interested staff. When we stayed there was lovely Christmas family experiences, lots of family groups, disco and games in the evening, Santa visited all very exciting. In the midst of this were several adult guests who seemed to be forgotten. Although there was an adults only bar.,....right beside the children's party. I adore children but had hoped to have a relaxing and calm pre Christmas break which didn't happen. It would have been...

"Three of us adults were comfortable, but cold. The heating cost of fuel and wood for stove was high and made our comfort stressful. Otherwise, moral was easily accessible, accommodating and pleasant. Thank you, Frederica"
