The cabin is lovely, exactly as described and it has a the essential. Little plus, there was the basics for cooking (oil, sal and pepper). We had fun chopping our own wood and using the stove to make fire, plus it was so relaxing to be in the forest, although a little close from the highway. "Very nice cabin, could accommodate family with kids. Close to beach, but view obstructed by row of smaller cabins directly in front. Close to Salish Market in Bowser, and also Qualicum Beach. Good amenities, kitchen well appointed for cooking, grilling, baking. Very pleasant stay."

"Our quaint little accommodations met all of our needs. The location was in a pretty forest & all the comforts we needed. We come to Powell River a couple times a year to visit family & we would love to stay again in the warmer months. Lots of nice little touches in our room & I would have given 5 stars instead of 4 except there was a lot of cobwebs that I think are just common in the winter months & sometimes difficult to see in certain light while cleaning. Overall a lovely little place."

The locals of the island were so sweet and helpful as well. The island has many beautiful places to explore including walks and hikes. So glad we went on the “off season” as we were able to do our exploring with little or no crowds. Worth all the extra ferry rides as be able to travel off the beaten trail."

"It was a great spot to hang out and do stuff with my sisters. We were able to walk to Rathtrevor beach right from the property. We’ll be back next year. But maybe stay in a unit closer to the hot tub."
