"Property was very basic. Cheap, low end of IKEA. seating uncomfortable. Beds uncomfortable. No bars or restaurants or shops close. 25mins 1 way and 45 mins walking the other way. We had to hire a car. "

"Nach der Ankunft sahen wir, dass sich das Haus in der direkten An- und Abflugschneise des Flughafens befindet. Alle 2 Minuten kam ein Flieger so nah vorbei, dass man quasi die Flugzeugnummer lesen konnte - eine Katastrophe. Und sowohl der Ort als auch die Wohnung haben ihre beste Zeit hinter sich. Und direkt hinter dem Ort beginnt das große Gewerbegebiet, das zum Flughafen gehört. Wir können nur abraten. Wir haben uns direkt eine neue Unterkunft gesucht und keine einzige Nacht dort verbracht."

"Minerva is a helpful and attentive host, the house is clean, comfortable and well equipped. It's right between the main GC-2 road and the sea, but set back from the road and you can't hear the traffic over the sound of waves crashing on the rocks. The location shown by the Homeaway web site is misleading - the house is to the west of Banaderos and it's a 15 minute walk to get into the village where there are a couple of restaurants. There's a well stocked supermarket close by, which is open...

"Overall this place was ok. We had issues with the bathroom towels, which were old, thin, and raggedy and the shower curtain, which was way too long causing my little grandson to trip and fall. There was also a strong scent of sewage in the apartment and the street area around it. I had to buy air freshener to stand it. Finally the overall cleanliness of the apartment was not great. I had to sweep and mop several times. The maintenance lady was very, very nice and accommodating but the owner...

"We were here for a month for work. Overall our experience was amazing. The house is a little remote but that's what I was looking for. The communication with the owner was quick and helpful whenever we needed it. I would rent this house again if I were to come back to Gran Canaria."

"The property is in no way modern or flashy. It could do with an update so if this worries you, avoid. For us, the location was more important. Shops and restaurants in walking distance. There is only one indoor loo/ bathroom but the pool shower room is only a few steps outside. The pool was cold ...refreshing! There was a shortage of sockets above the work surfaces in the kitchen which was a bit of a problem. Host was polite and helpful. Bit of a problem with commission charged on return of...

"El alojamiento estaba muy bien decorado, y con todo tipo de comodidades, tanto en la cocina como en las habitaciones y baños!. Totalmente recomendable para dos o tres personas y el espacio fue mas que suficiente!!! Además, se encuentra a escasos 100 metros de la playa de las canteras, y la posibilidad de tener parking en esa zona es inmejorable. Gracias a Alejandro por su amabilidad."

"Die Wohnung ist wirklich schön, wir haben den Hof sehr genossen. Alles was man braucht war da, aber alles irgendwie ungenügend. Winzige Töpfe, wenig Besteck, nur ein riesiges „Schafes“Messer, zu wenige Stühle, sehr günstige synthetische Bettwäsche. Die Wohnung ist auch recht hellhörig, allerdings nicht im Schlafzimmer.Wir hatten eine gute Zeit, aber das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war ungenügend."

"Where we stay was nice and quite we meet a few of the locals who are very nice our host was very lovely lady made us feel more than welcome showed us around the villa gave us the keys and left us to it she also helped with cab ect all in all we had a wonderful time and will be going back again "

"Das Haus ist liebevoll ,vom sehr freundlichem und immer ansprechbaren Eigentümer Armando ,von einem Bauernhaus in eine Ferien Finca umgestaltet worden.Noch nicht perfekt in der Ausstattung ,aber Kompromisse sind wir gerne eingegangen mit Rücksicht auf den absolut schönen Garten ,in den man im Panorama aus dem Wohnzimmer schaut.Das Haus liegt in einem Baranco-aber man fühlt sich nicht eingeengt.Vom Haus ist es möglich nach Santa Brigida zu Fuß zu steigen-oder per Auto über die "Sand Piste" in 5...
