"Minerva is a helpful and attentive host, the house is clean, comfortable and well equipped. It's right between the main GC-2 road and the sea, but set back from the road and you can't hear the traffic over the sound of waves crashing on the rocks. The location shown by the Homeaway web site is misleading - the house is to the west of Banaderos and it's a 15 minute walk to get into the village where there are a couple of restaurants. "Overall this place was ok. We had issues with the bathroom towels, which were old, thin, and raggedy and the shower curtain, which was way too long causing my little grandson to trip and fall. There was also a strong scent of sewage in the apartment and the street area around it. I had to buy air freshener to stand it. Finally the overall cleanliness of the apartment was not great. I had to sweep and mop several times. The maintenance lady was very, very nice and accommodating but the owner...
