"Right next to the sea, our room had a super outlook, south-east facing. Very good food in the restaurants and prices for drinks unexpectedly well-priced. Staff were so friendly and it was a battle to develop our Spanish as their English was so good. Being a 10-minute stroll to the marina was a real bonus offering up a plethora of bars and restaurants. Definitely not a loud or wild area for the youth to enjoy - peaceful and tranquil for all!"

"After reading the negative reviews I became really anxious about my family holiday, to the point where I almost cancelled! I’m so pleased I didn’t because we had the most amazing time! "I’m not the biggest fan of resort hotels but this place had class. Beautiful design and the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Its a wonderfully quiet spot of the promenade but near to all the restaurants."

"I'd read on trip advisor that there was terrible food poisoning etc! Rubbish, they might have had a norovirus bug in the hotel but staff made every effort with sanitisers at meal times to eliminate this, although we never spoke to anyone who was affected. "Great resort, been a couple of times now and would continue to come back. Great facilities for sporty/active people and similarly for relaxing. Great selection of food, rooms are clean and modern, and the staff are great, plus great value for money. Would highly recommend!"

"Nice Hotel, however cleaning needs to be improved. I put my towel on the floor to get it replaced as it was dirty. They did just fold it and put it back in the shelf so it looked as it was replaced however it was not. Disgusting. "

"My mum and I had a fantastic time on our winter break at Gruptoel Orquieda. The staff we encountered were wonderful and we were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a sea view room. There were plenty of amenities for adults available. Lots of choices at the buffet. Only improvement, could be the showerheard quality as you were unable to change its setting and it has a "fire hose spray" feel to it. The beach was so peaceful and quiet and there were plenty of sunbeds available with sea views! Overall and incredible experience!"

Our holiday

"Lovely hotel,staff were brilliant,the lady who cleaned our rooms was the happiest person always with a smile on her face and left the room spotless. The entertainment was good and there was something on all day if you wanted Food was nice,pool was great abd the grounds are lovely. It was my partners birthday and the even left a card and a small box of chocolates in our room on the day."
