"This year I spent the winter solstice soaking in a hot tub in peaceful silence and perfect darkness. The only sound was the patter of rain on the leaves, which continued on the roof of my cozy cabin facing a perfect little stream. The air here is so clean and the river access is pretty good even for older folks. My wife and I found the host Emkay was quite lovely and communicative and has gone to great lengths to create a tranquil and safe space with lots of quirky personal touches. "

And if you’re lucky enough to have clear skies, the stars are absolutely dancing above you. The short walk down to the creek access and sandy shore can be best described as magical, while you get to gaze at the beauty of the Redwood trees on the property. "The property is amazing, and the cabin itself is so cute and cozy! We had everything we needed and we will definitely stay again. On our last day, we came home to wine, two wine glasses and a handwritten card from Emkay. So sweet and thoughtful! Cannot wait to visit again!!"

"We were in the South Bay for a wedding at Nestledown and didn't want to make the drive back home after festivities. This cabin is indeed cute, definitely tucked into the forest, and couldn't be any more convenient for the wedding venue unless it was literally on site. Host was quick to respond and place was tidy and comfortable."

"This home was perfect for our get together with longtime friends. The beach location was wonderful and we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. It’s a condo unit towards the back of the property and we were able to negotiate the road in the dark. I had trouble with the access code, user error no doubt but the owner checked to ensure we were in. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. I would recommend this comfortable, nice home on the beach!"
