"A really nice hotel- good food and services and only minor issues - Pool area very busy but despite notices about towels being removed from sunbeds if they were unattended for more than 30mins this didn’t happen -however ball playing in the pool was stopped even if pool was pretty much empty. Maybe some of the policies could be reviewed"

"A nice, clean hotel with good entertainment and in a central location. Unfortunately, it is let down by a dreadful restaurant and being too near to the Veronicas strip with all of its drug dealing, prostitution and excessive noise late in to the evenings."

"We’ve stayed here twice now. It’s an ideal place to stay for a few quiet days of relaxing in the sun by one of the pools. There are beaches not far off, but the hotel is on a hill, so the walk can be hard work in hot weather, although the hotel does offer a shuttle service. "The rooms were big, we had a sea view and a roof terrace. Maintenance was being done and the property is well presented. We got an upgrade from a single room studio with three beds, to a three bed apartment for no particular reason, which was fabulous! "

"I have just returned from a 5 night winter break here. I have travelled extensively but this hotel is up there with some of the best i have stayed in, certainly in Europe. The staff were all extremely polite friendly and professional. The pools and grounds were beautiful, but the town outside tge horel was very limited. "When we arrived we were really impressed with Lobby and pool area - it’s a beautiful hotel. Check in had quite a big Q - not sure why they haven’t introduced on line check in as that would have made the process quicker. Rooms are a little dated but very clean with plenty of storage. "A nice place, quite an uphill walk but 5 minutes in a taxi. Some apartments in need of an upgrade but nothing too serious. Snack bar and rooftop bar were both very good but disappointed in food in on site restaurant. Good value for money and would return"

"Lovely room, much bigger and nicer than we had expected. Cleaning only every 7 days - we were there for 5 nights and a change of towels/bins emptied in that time would have been nice, but not the end of the world. Great pool and central location. Hope to return!"

"Despite the large size of the property, the grounds were clean and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our room (489) was excellent and we would request it in the future. Dining was everything promised. The seafood was excellent. Sea salt-encrusted sea bass is a MUST! We had a minor issue that one of the property managers, Manuel more than addressed. He promptly corrected the matter and extended a beautiful, private seating with the sunset in the background with champagne and rose pedals all around us. Great property and great location. We will be coming back to Ritz, Abama. "
