"Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here. Breakfasts lovely [ my favourite is the scrambled egg with smoked salmon ] Suppers also delicious. Good menu selection with Sea Bass & Rump Steak being my choices ( on 2 different occasions - - I should add.! ). Dog friendly - which is important if you want to have your pooches with you which we did. Allocated a downstairs room which is delightful with excellent shower & loo facilities. Would we want to stay here again. You bet !! PRB "

"The room was huge! The bed was very comfortable & despite being on a busy road it was quiet. It’s a creaky building though so if you’re a light sleeper noisy floorboards might annoy you. Check in was easy. I did struggle getting all my luggage up 2 flights of stairs though so don’t bring anything heavy! There were dining options within easy walking distance. Breakfast was great, plenty of options & good quality bacon. The small issue was dealt with swiftly & efficiently. My only little gripes...
