"Séjour agréable dans une maison spacieuse, un peu à l'écart de Domme (accessible en 10 min à pied). La piscine (un peu fraiche) offre une pause relaxante après nos randonnées. "Stayed in the upstairs appartment which run the length of the building .Very well equipped with washing machine and a dish washer,a welcome surprise. The pool is in a secluded garden location. Negatives Our end bedroom had a strange en suite bathroom arrangement. A screen instead of a wall. A Jack n Jill sink taking up space that could have been used for a toilet and single sink. A bit odd!."

"The property had the advantage of a lovely pool (shared with other guests) which was fantastic as temperatures exceeded 35 degrees while we were there. The cottage was in a lovely quiet village and we purchased a lot of local produce from the Co-op cabin situated in the village square - well worth a visit. The property was ideally located to visit many lovely areas of the Dordogne such as Montignac, Sarlat, Domme and many others."

"We loved this house, stayed for 12 days and relaxed and ate and drank in the early French summer. We nearly didn’t book mainly because of the lack of reviews and the somewhat, what seemed to be clumsy correspondence back and forth to the owner that at time made no sense. "We booked this property as a girl holiday getaway for my 40th birthday celebrations. Overall we had a nice stay and found the location great to be able to visit some really stunning towns and villages nearby including Dome, Rocamadour and also had the opportunity to do cannoing in the Dordogne river as it’s such a great spot for it. In terms of the house itself, it had the main things we wanted but I wish the outside area by the pool would have had more greenery or at least a bit of grass....

Stay more than 1 night!

"1. Arrive in the daylight! This is Deep France, so it's a little confusing to find in the dark. 2. Stay in the Chateau part of the house. Our romantic room was BEAUTIFUL and just like the photos. Our -in-laws had a family room, and it was very large! 3. You should reserve for dinner since there isn't much else if you arrive in the evening. We missed it and ended up eating pizza in a parking lot! 4. Breakfast "buffet" was impressive, both the beautiful DR setting and the variety of food. Worth the $. 5. We were there in March, so still early spring, but the pool area and grounds looked very inviting for warmer weather. 6. Excellent treatment at reception for both arrival and departure. 7. Room/beds/AWESOME shower! We would love to return!"

All in all....great.

"Overall this was very good. Friendly staff. Nice big bedroom. All very clean and tidy...although it could do with updating, especially the bathroom. The bathroom was very clean but tired...although well scrubbed. The breakfast was plentiful with fruit, cereals, pastries, meats, cheese etc We didn't eat evening meal but it looked OK, but we went to old town Brive for a look around. Overall excellent stay and especially considering the low cost."
