"the house is small but can fit in with my family. the host replied promptly and solved with all the enquires. only sad thing is the washing machine is too old the clothes left lots of powder after wash. overrall good ."

"I really enjoy this cottage....it is clearly loved, and has survived since 1905..through earthquakes etc. It has a wonderful history, is totally private..and is like a quaint country cottage, in the middle of the city. It has all the facilities you might need. Plus an outside bath....fabulous!"

"We enjoyed our stay in the property. It was well equipped, had very comfortable beds, and was in a good location. Bachcare, the agent, were responsive, when required. The only negatives were the intermittent hot water in the shower (everywhere else the hot water was fine) and the very neglected garden area."

"The place was clean and well appointed. The car park is very small and not easy to use. The screen door is difficult to unlock.N Brighton is not a very exciting place "

"Property was not as described in the desription. The house was relatively clean with clean sheets in the beds. We stayed for 5 nights as a family of 8 and it was roomy enough for the whole family. Th reqson for the poor score is a few. Dishes and kitchen utilities were not clean on arrival. The rubbish bins were also full and had not been collected until the day of departure. Also hot water was never enough for the family to have showers, hence could not use the dishwasher or washing machine...

"Such a stunning view!! I could have sat in the spa soaking that in all day, especially when the sun is shining across the bay! The house is a perfect size for 2 adults with all that is needed to cook and have a few days out of the hustle and bustle. Akaroa is close by and there are plenty of great cafes and bars to eat at a short 10 min drive away."
