"Lovely homestay with such attention to detail in property. Good Sri Lankan breakfast. Quiet area except for some railway noise but not a problem for us. Half hour walk to fort( plenty of tuk-tuks if you want) Helpful & friendly host."

"The property is in an incredible location with breathtaking views. Even though it’s on a public beach, it still felt super exclusive and private. The staff were absolutely amazing at making us feel welcome and taking care of us. The hospitality was top-notch fromthe duty manager, to every single staff member, including the restaurant staff who went above and beyond to pamper us. One of the chefs, was incredible. "It was so convenient for us to stay here and in the middle of the night walk up to the bottom of Adam's Peak and climb the mountain. The hotel provides meals as well which is handy. The staff are helpful."

"Highly recommended!! The location is great, my room was spacious and well equipped, the food is plentiful and delicious and all the staff are happy, friendly and totally adorable!! If you're staying over Christmas/New Year, the extra effort with decorations and evening schedules is really lovely - the best I've experienced. "We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The welcome was amazing!!! The rooms were beautiful. The pool was amazing! It’s right on the beach! The food was exxxxxcellent!!! We will stay here again. One of our favorite hotels in all of Sri Lanka! Madhushan helped us with our bags and was very helpful! Krishmal cleaned our room and it was SPOTLESS!! So clean and beautiful! We really appreciated each of the staff who served us. We will be back! Excellent job! "

"Good: The beach. The pool. The variety of dining options. The hotel though in several areas like the rooms, lifts etc could be cleaner / better maintained. The AC struggled to lower the room temp below 24C. The light in the cupboard where the safe is located would not switch off. Flushing the toilet resulted in it running for over 5 minutes. The grout on the shower enclosures could do with the occasional clean with bleach…. Not what I expected of a hotel with such high daily charges."

"Enjoyed my stay. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The hotel itself is nice but the rooms are a bit dated. I would consider this a 4 not 5 star hotel. Special shout-out to Subhadra who was fantastic from housekeeping my entire staff. Definitely a highlight. Would recommend this hotel. "

"I booked Kurunduketiya as a birthday present for my partners 30th and some nice accommodation to finish our holiday at. However due to poor administrational errors, the resort didn’t have the correct details of our booking which we had paid for in full. It wasn’t until I reached out with questions about the booking 5 days prior that they contacted me to tell me that they had double booked and that we had to cut our stay short one night. They did offer up accomodation at another resort, however it was far inferior and had poor reviews. This then meant that rather than relaxing and enjoying our final day in Sri Lanka, we had to pack up and move to different accommodation for the final night. What made the whole experience worse was that rather than issuing me a full refund promptly, the manager Jayomi took a long time to resolve the issue fully and has ultimately left me out of pocket. The accomodation itself was beautiful, but it was a very disappointing way to end the trip. Particularly given the way it was handled so poorly with management and Expedia. "
