"The owner greeted us the first night. Very pleasant and super friendly. The space is beautiful and the fact that it was once an artist's studio for me made it even more special. The nearby lake is gorgeous. We brought our dog and she was very relaxed and comfortable for the stay. I thoroughly enjoyed the property and our mini vacation! "

"This place was a great place for us to stay on our vacation. Secluded outside of the city, and a short drive down a gravel road, it really feels that you're lost in the woods, but in a good way. If you're up to visit the Gunks, Angry Orchard, the Hudson river, love the beauty of the outdoors, and have other family or friends to visit in the area, definitely consider this home. Host was very responsive and had everything ready for us."

"This property was even more beautiful than it appeared in the photos. The wooded backyard was also spacious and lovely. We were so happy with the view of the lake and how peaceful the space was. The owners are easy to communicate with and prompt to respond. We will absolutely be going back. "

"Fantastic place! Beautiful views, lots of room, comfy beds, clean. There was 10 of us and it was a delight. Highly recommend it. "

Main deck w/ grill & sweeping lake views. Baby/dog gate at deck stairs.

"Our group of 2 couples enjoyed our week in the Hudson Valley area. We all commented on the excellent beds and pillows, the view of the lake from the house and the quiet of the neighborhood. Would stay here again."

"This is a very nice home with a well equipped kitchen. The living room and dining areas are spacious. We could have used more closet space but it wasn’t that much of an issue. The driveway could use grading but had ample parking."

"This is an older home with charm. Lots of room, and while just six of us stayed, it appears more could be accommodated with inflatable mattresses. We enjoyed sitting outside by the simple fire pit one night. I would encourage the owners to put an outside light in the back as I stumbled on the stairs twice but that’s really the only issue. We are so sorry we misplaced one of the two keys,please send us a bill for a copy if you don’t find it. Thank you!"

"This house does have a lovely view that allowed us to take in the changing leaves off the reflection of the lake. The house is smaller than it appears in the photos and not quite as comfortable to just hang out, at least inside.The couch fits three, but there aren't other chairs in the living area. There are great little outside areas though. Communication with Katherine was great. Previous tenants had broken the washer which was a drag and due to weather (drought conditions) we couldn't use...

"Perfectly adorable house that was ideal for our brief getaway. I wish we had been able to use the kayak/canoe but time was tight. The only issue was the driveway which had me holding my breath a bit but luckily we were careful and managed without incident."
