"This is a very comfortable, amazingly well stocked home that is easy walking distance to downtown Waxhaw and all the restaurants and shops located there, and if your pet accompanies you when you travel, this is an extremely welcoming property with a large fenced yard. "The house was clean, nicely decorated and CONVENIENT to where we needed to be (Winthrop University and the Oratory). We were only there to sleep and eat breakfast. It was very nice with no real problems. It was a quiet neighborhood (no dogs barking through the night as a few reviews stated). You could hear the early morning train (thus the house's name) but it was in the distance and I found it comforting not annoying. I don't think it would even wake an infant. Maybe next time we will have time...

"The house was beautiful, comfortable, quiet and a great location. I was in town for work for a few days and it had everything I needed. The house was extremely clean and the host followed up to make sure everything was exactly as needed. I would definitely recommend the house and the host. "

"The property is located close to downtown Rock Hill. Not the nicest part but not the worst. Houses in neighborhood easily build in the 1940s. Luther did a good of refurbishing the house to make the inside comfortable and functional. We were visiting for a sports tournament and home was conveniently locate to the multiple venues and within 5-10 minutes to restaurants and stores. Luther was great host and very responsive in answering any questions and addressing concerns."

"The house was located close to Main street and was in a nice location. Overall the stay was nice and the house was good - only cons were there were a couple of cockroaches dead in the house throughout the stay and the cars drive a bit faster than anticipated down the street right outside of the house. But the house was comfortable and the hosts were great and accommodating!"

"This was the perfect retreat for a weekend away with my roller-coaster enthusiast of a son. The cottage was spotless and had all the amenities we could ask for. The pull-out couch was the most comfortable bed ever! We used the kayaks on the lake and I enjoyed much-needed “me time”, reading my book on the dock. Short drive to Carowinds for adventure!"
