"A number of us ranging from ages 8-62 came here for a family week away. The property was perfect for our group. It was well maintained and clean. We had a few questions for the hosts during our stay, and they always responded right away. A few more extra blankets (it was super cold the week we visited), and an onsite vacuum cleaner were my only requests. But the whole family had a great time and we loved exploring the little shops and restaurants in Carelton Place. But it's very easy to get to...

"This was the perfect little getaway with my girlfriends, the place was so lovely, we all felt so comfortable, we had heat issues, and when we contacted the management, they came over within minutes to rectify our issue. Really sweet little town with lots of beautiful shops and places to eat."

"Judy has put together a very thoughtful bunkie that’s brimming with character. It's cozy and inviting, temporarily making the world a smaller place for you to relax and live worry-free. There were few mosquitos while I was there. I noticed instead more bees, butterflies, and dragonflies (which eat mosquitos to my knowledge). There were also plenty of frogs and a few hummingbirds that frequented the feed. To cook, there's a small gas stove and also a BBQ. The gas stove is in the kitchenette...

"We were very impressed with the property. The owner seems to have thought of all amenities required for a comfortable stay. Very spacious, lots of beds, recommended. Only issue we had was the walls between houses are a bit thin!"

"We arrived just before sunset and we were so happy to find such a beautiful home . Our dog had a blast getting his zoomies out in the back yard and the kids made themselves at home in the kitchen making dinner . Our night took a great turn when my teenager asked to play scrabble ! Rarely happens. The electronics were all turned off voluntarily and we enjoyed the fire, dinner and scrabble . Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. "

"Julie and Gary were wonderful hosts and made sure our family was comfortable and had everything we needed. The home is decorated beautifully and has much character and charm but still feels comfortable like home. The backyard tops it all off on a nice sunny day!"

Less than 15 minutes away from the wedding venue. Beautiful views of a serene lake with amazing sunset! Outdoor space equip for relaxing and play. "Considering the amenities, this is more a house than cottage. Very comfortable beds. Truly appreciate things like boxes of tissues, shampoo and conditioner, comfy blankets, tons of glassware, dishes, towels. Clear lake water, no weeds, making for great swimming, kayaking, boating. Clear and concise information from the hosts made our arrival and departure super easy. All the comforts one can ask for. Definitely recommend! "

"We had a great stay. The house was just what we needed. We enjoyed the firepit, played games, and toured the area. Even spotted a deer in the yard one morning. The road could be a small concern if you have children or pets as the cars speed past and trees block the view of the driveway. Property manager was very responsive and helpful. "Really lovely few days in this fantastic cottage. It’s got everything you need for a getaway. We got lucky with the weather and enjoyed being outside in the day, fishing or in the canoe, and sitting out looking at the stars at night time with a fire going. Communication with the host was exceptional. Thanks!"
