"A delightful property in a stunning location in the middle of the Dordogne countryside. The house has plenty of grounds in which to roam or play and the family particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and games room. All facilities are provided in the house and if we wanted any additional equipment, such as a barbeque, we only had to ask. Eileen and Richard were the perfect hosts and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. We had a perfect, relaxing week and will definitely be returning."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hameau Barnabe. Patricia and Thierry were very accommodating and made every effort to ensure we had all that we needed. "This very clean and comfortable cottage is in the country a short drive from Sainte Emilion. Quiet, pastoral setting. It was out base for drives in the area and for a relaxing time at the end of the day. We opted for the breakfast which was very reasonable and delish - yougurt, fruit, pastries, juice and coffee. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The furnishings were modern and comfortable. Everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay."

"France was really helpful prior to and on arrival. Bed superbly comfortable, kitchen well equipped, and the lovely Buddha garden was perfect and dog safe. You do need to speak French to communicate easily. "

"From first contact, Nathalie was extremely helpful, we got a great video for check in as we were arriving very late at night. The wine was great, we know, we drank enough of it!! The house was clean and spacious with lots of games, the swimming pool was perfect, we all loved the diving board. We nicknamed the pool hoover Janice, she was a bit annoying in the pool all the time but the pool was clean so worth it I suppose. "An AMAZING beautiful hotel conveniently located in prime area. The entire staff was POSITIVELY the best!!! I can not say enough good things about the entire staff. From the moment we stepped in to the lobby we were catered to as if we were Royalty. They were so accommodating and helpful. I have stayed all over the World and spend at least 100 nights a year at hotels and the Hotel Pavie staff is at the very top and of my list!! The Restaurant is fabulous and if you can get a reservation it is a must do. I can not wait to return."

"Loved this hotel, it is right in the heart of St Emillion and it gives you. the opportunity to really explore the town on foot. There is parking at the hotel (if you book in advance which I would as parking in St Emillion can be challenging) which was a real bonus. Room was lovely, bed was super comfortable and the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely stay here again if visiting St Emission."

Perfect stay in wonderful surroundings

"Our family had such an amazing stay at this property. The location is wonderful as surrounded by vineyards and nature in a lovely quiet setting. The house is perfect for families, spotlessly clean, spacious and plenty of facilities for young children. There was a collection of toys, paddling pool, sun loungers, bbq, table tennis to name just a few. The rooms are so comfortable and had a great sleep. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay. Location wise, we are very close to Soussac for local shops and a wonderful restaurant and Bergerac only being a 30-40 min drive. The hosts are a delight and was amazing at helping us check in as we arrived late at night due to delays. We could not have had a more enjoyable holiday at the gîte and will return for sure."
