"It's a great home base to start exploring the region. Two wineries are very close by, and Florence is an easy drive away. The traditional way the house is built keeps it nice and cold during the day. We loved it!"

"The best thing is the location, and the accommodations were good. Having read the reviews we knew what to expect and were not surprised. The downsides were mainly the six flights of stairs and the fact that the bathroom is shared. Antonio was accommodating and offered good advice about what to see and where to eat. A couple things that could be done easily to improve the stay for guests would be to provide some closet and/or drawer space and to have a clear place in the bathroom for a guest...

"Anna was just a delightful host - because we came in late, we asked if she could provide us a simple meat/cheese tray (at our cost of course) and she provided a 4 course home made meal!!!! It was fantastic and we ate leftovers for our entire stay. The villa is just beautiful and had everything we needed and more - be sure to come in warm weather to use the pool. It's a perfect home base to explore the area - but be prepared to drive the curvy roads - which is half the fun! "

"We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful cottage, which has been lovingly built and maintained by Carlo. It is close enough to Florence for easy day trips - a car is recommended for convenient access to the property, but there is ample free parking in a nearby town to head downtown by bus. Accommodations were very comfortable, we made good use of the fridge and convection cooktop, and the views are unmatched. Carlo was kind and quick to respond with any questions we had. "After a stressful flight cancellation we arrived on a Monday afternoon and all of our stress instantly disappeared when we arrived. The house is beautifully decorated and very cosy. It’s very clean and we felt really comfortable and safe. Ginevra was so welcoming and pointed out places for us to visit and we enjoyed all of her recommendations. The house is ideally located and within walking distance to lots of great places and using taxi apps Ginevra recommended to call cabs when we needed was...

"We loved this property- very well equipped, lovely pool and great views. And, only a few minutes walk into the village with lovely bars restaurants and shops. A perfect location. The only thing that might cause an issue for some ( not for us) , is that the third bedroom is a mezzanine floor within the second bedroom with a very steep staircase. The only access to the bathroom from these rooms is either through the main bedroom or through the patio door and around the outside of the property. ...
