"We’ve stayed at the Bald Knob Farmhouse many times and love it every time. It’s so peaceful and homey and we enjoy just hanging out and spending some quiet time there. Clara is wonderful to work with and we hope to continue visiting many more times in the future. "

"This was such a great place for our family. We could look out the window and see horses. We loved it. It was just after Christmas and we were visiting my sister and her family so we wanted a place where we could all sit down and have a meal. And this place is perfect and so lovely. Just as described, clean, easy to access and the host was amazing, even checked in with us after we arrived to ask if there was anything else we needed. We have family in this area, we will stay here again!"

"We stayed here for a wedding that was about 20 minutes away. The neighborhood was tough to get into because of the snow, but everything else was perfect. The house was lovely and clean and it had everything we needed to feel cozy during the winter weather. Super close to town which made getting supplies easy too!"

"A home that has the luxury of 2025 but the feel of the 1900’s.What a great place to stay you can look out the window in the morning and see God’s beauty from the cattle to the mountains.The home has the original floors original walls from the early 1900s what a place to stay you can imagine being there and knowing that someone churned butter in that home, they canned their own food in that home that Home represents love if you want a place to stay as a blast from the past stay in this place!!"

"While small, it’s a very cozy and clean cabin and was perfect for the two of us and our small dogs. Had all the amenities we needed. There was even 3 drawers full of coffee, tea cocoa, sugar and cream for the Keurig. We had no issues at all with the WiFi. Loved the hot tub on the screened in back deck. We slept on the sofa bed rather than going up and down the steep steps but found it very comfortable. "My wife and I spent 3 nights for her birthday and loved it! She loved the white lights on the porch and sitting on the swing in the evening. We both enjoyed meeting the animals around the property. The cabin itself was so cozy and the bed so comfortable! It is conveniently located to historic Mount Airy and other places. We would definitely recommend!"
