"We enjoyed our stay at Villa Marilena, Eleni and Marino are the most perfect of hosts. They really couldn’t have done enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The property’s location was perfect for us, we love Chaliotata village some nice places to eat and not far from Sami. "The size of accommodation is just perfect for families of all ages. Two doubles and three singles fits in 7 easily, we also had a toddler with us in one of the double rooms. We filled this place and still had space, it’s that spacious. Outside the pool is a great size and the lawn area is big enough to play 5 a side football and still have space for a volley ball court, all with a backdrop of cypress trees, hills/mountains and the Sami Bay Area. "This unit is very clean, beautiful space, however the air conditioning, which was only 1 AC unit in the bedroom did not work. I was assured by Angie at check in that it would cool entire unit. It did not! It was 34c (93.2F) in the unit at check in, even running the AC for 6 hours never cooled below 30c (86F) in bedroom. Rest of unit was above 34c (93.2F) our entire stay. Owner solution was bringing us a fan. Owner said technician repaired AC. It never cooled. Was not repaired. Miserable...

"Amazing villa, by far the best we have stayed at. Spotlessly clean with every amenity we could have wished for. We enjoyed the huge shaded area which was perfect for chilling with a book or drying off after a swim. The local beach is very small but great for a swim or a snorkel. The directions to the villa were great and kept us off the rough tracks which a sat nav can take you via. We enjoyed the taverna at Avithos beach which has great food and lovely views. We definitely hope to return!"

"This was our 2nd stay in Villa Varkoula. It’s a simple but lovely villa, with pool and great views of hills. Very peaceful. A joy to watch the swallows/swifts dipping down to sip from the swimming pool, a few sightings of an eagle and cute bats in the evening. A car is essential, but the town of Lixouri and several lovely and not too busy beaches are all within a short drive. Perfect for a quiet getaway or as a base to explore the wonderful island of the Kephalonia."

"We were a late booking August 2023 and were so pleased with the villa and owners attention to any issues and our enjoyment. Great property in a pretty and peaceful location, just a short drive from wonderful Lixouri and beaches. As 5 adults we had plenty of room and 3 out of 4 bedrooms with en-suites was a luxury we hardly expected when searching for the villa. The only minor gripe would be fridge space. The standard fridge freezer was a little restrictive for 5 adults and would be inadequate...

"We (a family of 4 adults) had a great time staying in this is lovely villa, Its in a perfect location with beautiful views, just 5 mins walk from a lovely small sandy beach with plenty of great restaurants close by. The villa itself is immaculate and comfortable with a lovely outside garden area and pool for relaxing. We hope to return!"

"We had a wonderful 2 weeks in Villa Themis. The location is fantastic with plenty of lovely beaches near by and a short drive to Argostoli. The villa is really well equipped with everything you would need and very clean too. The pool was a massive hit with the children who were in there everyday. Communication with the owner was great and he replied really quickly to our enquiries. We’d definitely recommend this villa!"

"Beautiful location, amazing food and wine and a fantastic service. The yoga, meditation and sound healing classes were amazing. The gym had been plenty of machines and equipment do workouts and there were endless classes. We will definitely be back on a regular basis. "

"Lovely hotel on the harbour in Argostoli. Clean, comfortable rooms and well kept public areas. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and the morning staff made us feel very welcome, offering cooked dishes and refilling coffee etc. A central location with plenty of places to eat and drink close by. Would recommend."

A gem in kefalonia

"We absolutely loved our stay. The brothers who run it are so helpful and friendly, the apartments are perfect. Love that guests leave sun cream, hair spray, toiletries, oskars have a box for other guests to help themselves (all hotels should do this). The restaurant food is stunning I had the best gyros I’ve ever tasted!! Nice 15 min walk into lassi. We rebooked for next May before we left (loved it so much) thank you for making us so welcome 🤗 "

Ideal hotel for Argostoli trip

"Perfectly located hotel, rooms petite but perfectly arranged. Comfortable bed with good quality linens, beautiful balcony with sun beds and sea view. Breakfast varied and good quality. Lovely rooftop sunbathing area and jacuzzi. Would highly recommend a stay. "

"An excellent place to stay, close to the Airport and to Lassi and Agostoli. The hotel is perfect for a relaxing break by the pool / beach with dinner options in nearby towns or on site. The views from the hotel are as good as the pictures suggest. Would recommend "
